Shipping Information

Delivery of our shop furniture is free of charge within a ten mile radius of Newcastle upon Tyne. Alternatively, you are welcome to collect from our workshop in Whitley Bay.

Delivery charges beyond the region are below:

UK Mainland Only:

£50 for a large item such as the Deep Buttoned Footstool or large chair

£30 for a cocktail chair

£20 for a small item, such as the Queen Anne footstool


Scottish Highlands, Islands, Wales, Northern Ireland, Ireland, Isles of Scilly, Channel Islands, Isle of Man:

Additional surcharges may occur. Please email us for a shipping quote before making a purchase.


International Delivery:

We are happy to ship our furniture via international courier services worldwide. In order that we find you the most cost effective option, please email us with the items you wish to purchase and your address details so we can provide you with a shipping quote. You must agree to shipping insurance on all international deliveries.


Returns

All our items are handmade with great care and we hope you like them. However, if for any reason you are unhappy with your item, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt for a refund or exchange. After this time, we regret that we cannot accept returns, offer refunds or exchanges.

If you wish to return an item within the 14 day period, please email katie@townhouseupholstery.co.uk with your order number to start the process. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition in which you received it. It must also be returned in the original packaging (if applicable), and packed sufficiently to withstand delivery. Please retain your proof of postage as we cannot be held responsible for any goods lost in transit without proof of sending.

A refund will only be issued once the item is returned and inspected to ensure it is in a resalable condition. If approved, a refund will be released immediately. Please be aware that the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

There are no refunds on sale items.

Bespoke items that are hand made to order cannot be returned. If the product is believed to be faulty then we will refund you at our discretion after inspection of the furniture. Please note that you must report any damage within two days of receiving the item(s) or we cannot accept any responsibility and will not be able to process a refund.
